I am an artist, cartoonist, and nature-observer living in Delaware. After 10 years in Chicago, I am overjoyed that my local flora and fauna includes marine mammals!
Most of my creative work has focused on the natural world or creatures of one sort or another.
Previously I co-founded The Endangered Species Print Project. ESPP creates limited-edition art prints to raise funds for critically endangered species. The project has raised over $15,000 for wildlife conservation.
My illustration work has been included in a museum exhibit on the Burgess Shale that traveled internationally with the Smithsonian Institute Traveling Exhibition Services (SITES), The Endangered Species Condom Project which was profiled in The New York Times, featured on a billboard in Times Square, and won two Addy awards, and the book City Creatures published in 2015.
Recent exhibitions of my art include a 2 person show Animal Umwelt at iMOCA Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art, City Creatures at Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum (Chicago), Dress/Sheild at Lump Gallery (Raleigh), and Rare Nature also at Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum.
