Just Giant Toenails

Art activism campaign on social media for World Rhino Day.

To raise awareness of rhino and pangolin poaching. We decided to highlight just how gross it is to drive an animal to extinction for the use of its body parts. This is especially gross when those parts are basically just giant toenails; rhino horns and pangolin scales are made of keratin, the same as human toenails. We invited artists to create works featuring rhinos and pangolins using human toenails/toenail clippings. #JustGiantToenails

Spooky Species

SPPOKYSPECIES.jpg

Ghost bats, vampire finches, and aye-ayes! None of these animals are actual monsters; they all play a vital part in their ecosystems! In some cases, the human-perceived spookiness of these animals has led to their decline.

A drawing prompt list featuring spooky selections from the animal kingdom. Inviting artists to draw along and everyone to follow along and learn about these #spookyspecies
